Maydanoz, is a one hat restaurant, that serves a veggie-based menu, prepared using modern techniques as well as a world-class wood-fired Josper oven. 

Anason is located at Barangaroo and serves a vegetable and seafood-driven menu.

The Role

Because it’s such a pivotal role, it’s essential you can demonstrate previous experience in a similar role in a high-end, successful kitchen that delivers similar high standards.

The ideal candidate requirements:

  • Demonstrated kitchen experience within a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Solid understanding of professional kitchen practices
  • Exceptional skills and guest focus
  • Highly adaptable and able to perform/lead in high-pressure service periods
  • Demonstrated ability in building effective relationships with  chef & suppliers
  • Exceptional organization & time management during preparation and service periods
  • Genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
  • Exceptional communication and presentation
  • Understanding of  budgets, and labor costs
  • Strives to improve service performance
  • Available and willing to work a rotating roster including weekends, and public holidays.
