JOB DESCRIPTION

Gloria Jean's Coffee, Frankston is a renowned coffeehouse located in the heart of Victoria. As part of the esteemed Retail Food Group (RFG), we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities:
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless functionality and exceptional customer service. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing stock controls, rosters, security, cash handling, and financial reporting.
  • Forecasting, scheduling, and monitoring labour to align with sales and productivity targets.
  • Maximizing business profitability through cost controls and sales growth strategies.
  • Conducting monthly stock takes and ensuring inventory management.
  • Selecting, training, supervising, and evaluating staff performance.
  • Approving timesheets and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Reporting all incidents promptly and maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Handling customer complaints professionally and fostering a positive teamwork environment.

Barista
Duty Manager
Shift Manager
Cafe Manager

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar managerial role, preferably within the franchising industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills and adaptability to embrace change.
  • Results-focused with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated accountability and dedication to a safe working environment.
  • Previous experience with profit and loss statements is advantageous.

Individual Attributes:

  • 3-5 years of solid management experience, with a passion for achieving exceptional sales results.
  • Proficiency in handling food and coffee preparation.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • High attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work weekdays and weekends, totalling 38 hours per week.
