RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Chef de Partie
Executive Chef
Head Chef
Sous chef

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Sushi Chef in a premium Japanese restaurant 
  • Experience in high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment is advantageous
  • Understanding of food safety standards
  • Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Excellent communication, organisation and presentation
  • Able and willing to work shift work, including weekends and public holidays
