JOB DESCRIPTION

Be part of the Table Games team at a multi-award winning 4.5 star luxury resort and casino.

The Ville Resort-Casino is tropical North Queensland’s premier destination for dining, events and entertainment; located in gorgeous Townsville boasting 300 days of sunshine every year.

After a $45 million redevelopment, The Ville has emerged as one of Queensland’s hottest tourism destinations. The property’s $88 million sister hotel, Ardo, is set to open next door in late 2023 and will complete the transformation into a leisure precinct like nothing the region has seen before.

The Table Games Department at The Ville operates seven days a week. This incredibly busy department is responsible for providing our guests with a selection of classic casino table games.

To be successful you must have the capability to recognise, anticipate and fulfil our customers’ needs.  The desire to go ‘above and beyond’ to deliver exceptional service as well as the ability to interact in a fun, professional manner is also important.

Applicants must be available to participate in an intensive 4 week training period, consisting of 144 hours paid technical and skills training in a simulated gaming environment– dates to be advised.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

  • A genuine interest in the service and entertainment industry
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Be a team player
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Availability and capable of working days, nights, weekends, public holidays
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Are an Australian/NZ citizen or permanent resident
  • Have great communication skills reflecting a fun, friendly attitude
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be numerate and quick thinking
  • The ability to obtain a casino employee licence
  • Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol  and Responsible Gambling Certificates
