The Rifle Club Goes Bang Bang is on the hunt for a TEAM MEMBER!
We’re gearing up for a huge silly season and are looking for someone to join our bar team for 5–20 hours per week, primarily in a bussy/bar-back support role and food runner with the opportunity to grow into proper bar shifts as skills and confidence build. Perfect entery level job for someone who wants to learn more about bartending.
About The Rifle Club Goes Bang Bang
Located in the heart of Elsternwick, The Rifle Club Goes Bang Bang is a high-volume, high-energy modern restaurant with a serious passion for great food, great drinks and unforgettable service.
We’ve built a reputation for:
• Standout cocktails and a dynamic bar program
• A buzzing weekend atmosphere
• Warm, genuine service
• A team that works hard, supports each other and takes pride in what we do
If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced venue and loves being part of a tight, fun team — you’ll fit right in.
What we’re looking for:
• Someone energetic, reliable and eager to learn
• A team player who’s not afraid to jump into the practical, hands-on tasks
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
• RSA required (or the willingness to get it)
• Hospitality or bar experience is great, but not essential — attitude and work ethic matter most
What the role involves:
• A mix of food running and bussing across the venue
• Running canapés, clearing plates and keeping the floor looking sharp
• Restocking stations with plates, napkins, cutlery, glassware
• Jumping in to run drinks or help the bar when things get wild
• Helping with set-up, water jugs and section resets
• Working closely with chefs, bartenders and FOH to keep things flowing
• Bringing good vibes, speed and awareness to the silly-season chaos
• Being part of the fun, fast and sometimes chaotic silly season vibe
What we offer:
• A supportive team and a genuinely enjoyable workplace
• Full bar training / floor training and the chance to learn and grow quickly
• 5–20 hours per week with opportunity for more
• A workplace where effort is noticed and progression is possible
• Staff meals, discounts and a great work culture
Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.
