JOB DESCRIPTION

We require a temp cook/chef to be part of our kitchen staff and join our team. Our chef is on holidays for a month, and need an extra hand to help out Friday - Monday (6:30-1:30). Ideal for someone looking for some extra work over the weekends. 

Menu is classic Australian cafe style menu, eggs bennedict, omlettes, etc....

The position requires someone who can concentrate, learn and works well with others.

Apprentice Chef
Breakfast Chef
Chef de Partie
Commis Chef
Cook

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar position
  • Flexible multitasking skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • The ability to work on a rostered shift basis and able to cover shifts when needed
  • A team player
  • Empathy and the will to help others
