JOB DESCRIPTION

Cabbage Tree Hotel are seeking a Venue Manager to lead a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

THE OPPORTUNITY  
As the Venue Manager & Licensee at Cabbage Tree Hotel, you are responsible for but not limited to:  

  • Oversee all operational requirements of the business in conjunction with bar and venue managers, including marketing, security, compliance, maintenance and cash management 
  • Recruitment, induction and training of all department teams, including sequence of service, product education & training and rostering 
  • Overseeing development of service offerings and continuous product improvement  
  • Driving marketing strategy and operations of venue marketing and product promotions 
  • Lead, motivate and inspire your team to fulfil their potential through cultivation of an inclusive workplace culture

Assistant Manager
Restaurant Manager
Venue Manager
Operations Manager

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

WHO ARE YOU 
 As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills: 

  • Experience working in a high-volume gaming venue - knowledge of current legislation relating to the gaming industry is essential 
  • Excellence and knowledge in food, beverage and customer experience  
  • Brings creative passion and ideas for marketing and continuous product improvement  
  • Immaculate presentation paralleled with service delivery excellence  
  • Ability to train, motivate and counsel staff in identified performance opportunities 
  • RSA and RCG essential, in addition to Advanced Licensee certification
