JOB DESCRIPTION

ABOUT US:  SLICES RESTAURANT CAROLINE SPRINGS

With an established reputation of quality modern Italian cuisine, desserts, wine, cocktails and service, we strive to be one of the best family Italian restaurants in Melbourne. Currently located across 3 sites, Keilor, Doreen and Caroline Springs. Slices has been in operation since 1990 and has years of experience in the industry and is renowned for their exceptional customer service. The family restaurant is dine in and takeaway, with seating up to 250 customers. It also caters for functions from birthdays to christenings or any corporate event.

In this role, you will be working closely with our head chef and back of house team along with the events and marketing team to deliver the best possible service we can offer. You will be the face of the venue and you will build a good relationship with our loyal customers.

You will be part of the front of house team and enjoy working with a smile on your face, with a passion for hospitality and dealing with customers. You must be motivated and be able to work within a large team in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties for Manager:

  • Professional and proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Oversee the events planning and bookings completed by the Event Co-ordinator 
  • Working closely with our Head Chef & Directors
  • Motivate a team of 15-30 team members.
  • Develop and train sub-ordinates into high roles
  • Reviewing P&L reports
  • KPI's set to be reached 
  • Overall smooth functionality of the restaurant of all departments
  • Ensure that you deliver an exceptional customer experience each and every time.
  • Manage the opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
  • Helping both managers implement and train staff
  • Follow and deliver on Slices ''order of service''
  • Work within the values of the organisation

Qualifications and Skills For Supervisors:

  • Current Victorian RSA 
  • Bar/Barista experience 
  • Previous Supervisor/Management of FOH (Preferable)
