JOB DESCRIPTION

Terminus has been a locally loved pub in the Yarrawonga scene for decades, known for its warm ambiance, great pub classics and exceptional service. The venue takes pride in creating memorable experiences for our patrons and is now looking for a passionate Venue Manager who shares their commitment to excellent customer service and a pub where everyone feels at home. 

You will oversee all aspects of the venue operations, ensuring that the venue is functioning effectively and efficiently. This venue requires a manager with a passion and drive to deliver exceptional experiences that can lead from the front.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Essential requirements:

  • 1- 2 years of Venue Management experience 
  • Work with and communicate effectively with all departments within the Head Office team
  • Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • P&L understanding and ability to deep dive into financials to analyse where there is an opportunity to grow your business
  • Ability to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the business
  • Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
  • Write and control an effective roster
  • Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss
  • Have a market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the area
  • Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
