About the role


We are looking for a Full Time Venue Manager to join our team at Barrenjoey House Palm
Beach.

The VM is responsible for the management & execution of daily operations and people management of the venue. In this role, you will:

  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience, through hands-on management & development of team & product in the Venue, in the areas of Restaurant and Accommodation.
  • Overseeing and managing all people practices as required including recruitment, onboarding, training and development of the F&B and Housekeeping Teams;
  • Lead the team in a positive and effective manner to ensure productivity, motivation and teamwork are always maintained at a high standard;
  • Managing labour relentlessly, monitoring COGs and operational costs to ensure controllable financials are managed to the maximisation of the business;

REQUIREMENTS

About you
To be the perfect addition to The Boathouse Group, you will have 5 years prior experience in a
comparable role within a hospitality business where you’ve used your good time management and
organisational skills and shown excellent leadership.

You’ll also:


● Be highly professional and customer oriented;
● Have people management skills which are developing;
● Be confident, calm and approachable;
● Be motivated to continue growing and developing your career with an excellent business;
● Hold a valid RSA and First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain.
