JOB DESCRIPTION

"The Commie" Clermont's social and event hub is looking for a experienced Venue Manager to join the team. Boosting multiple bars, beer garden, gaming room and offering some of the best live bands in Clermont. This great local bar is perfect for someone that enjoys working in a great local community. 

The successful candidate must have proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue, and exceptional customer service and presentation skills.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Venue Manager

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Essential requirements:

  • 3+ years in a Venue Manager role
  • Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Ability to generate revenue building ideas throughout all aspects of the business
  • Have a strong financial understanding of wage costing & P&L's
  • Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
  • Write and control an effective roster
  • Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss
  • Order and maintain par levels within beverage department, food department and venue consumables
  • Train, performance manage, and motivate staff
  • Recruit and induct new staff members into the business
  • Work with and communicate effectively to all departments within the Head Office team
  • Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
  • RLMV, Approved Managers License, CLO & Gaming Nominee
