JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Business Manager VIC/SA, this newly created role will be responsible for growing sales revenue and achieving profit contribution for the entire venue. They will assist in the development and execution of business plans that align with consumer marketing brand plans. 

This role will be based on-site at the iconic T'Gallant Cellar Door & Pizzeria on the Mornington Peninsula. 

  • Responsible for achieving and exceeding the key financial targets of sales growth and cost reduction for T’Gallant Winemakers
  • Lead and develop a diverse team of permanent full-time and casual staff across cellar door tasting room and pizzeria.
  • Connect, develop and nurture relationships that directly improve the fiscal performance & awareness of venues, across key tourism bodies.
  • Ensure a safe work environment conforming to TWE policies
  • Deliver the key financials for TWE – volume, Gross Revenue, EBIT including overhead and trade spend budgets
  • Manage prioritisation of sales growth in venues through wine sales, merchandise sales, experiences, and food & beverage offerings
  • Deliver on key metrics club recruitment, mailing list sign ups, average order value & conversion.
  • Seek out over and above opportunities for value growth based on consumer and business needs
  • Ownership of timely communication of venue performance and opportunities at hand
  • Ensure execution of in venue standards and consumer experiences.
  • Manage strong productive relationships with all members of the venues team and facilitate cross functional relationships to deliver agreed plans with marketing, market activation and design studio team
  • Be an outstanding ambassador for the T’Gallant brand
  • 5 day week, including weekends and public holidays

REQUIREMENTS

With a Degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing, you will have significant experience in Cellar Door/Hospitality management roles incorporating large team leadership positions.

  • Demonstration of a strong strategic business focus
  • Experience in dealing with demanding customers
  • Ability to understand, embrace and capitalise on change
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Proven record of Sales success and delivery to targets
  • Wine sales experience preferred
