It's now time for the owners to step away from their previous hands on approach and pass the reigns over to the right person.
Ideally we would like to put on a Venue Manager that can take on all operational sides of the venue but if we need to use Duty Managers or AVMs and us still be a bit present in the venue we are willing to do so. That being said we will provide all the nessacry training to allow smooth operations across the bar with potential growth into VM roles.
This will be a full time salary role with holidays and sick leave. We can be pretty flexible on hours and number of days worked to allow you the best work life balance possible.
A little bit about the bar. It is a sports bar and kitchen, decor is spray cans and skate decks, throw in some pool tables and band/artist memorabilia . We do live music, events and functions. You'll run with a team of 4-5 staff in a super fun a friendly enviroment.
Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.
Previous experience in a manager/supervisor role within the hospitality industry.
Being comfortable around a POS System, back of house, computer and google drive will all come as a massive advantage and you'll find a smooth transition if these are already skills you posses.
Main thing is being outgoing, a strong leader and the ability to think on the fly!
