JOB DESCRIPTION

We are an Irish Pub situated  in the heart of the Cairns CBD and we require an experienced assistant manager with a passion for hospitality and customer service.

As an assistant manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Front of House team. You'll be required to work a number of shifts including nights, weekends and public holiday's. You will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the business too. We desire a strong hospitality professional to come in with a positive mindset, bringing their talent and passion to help develop this classic venue.

The role of our Assistant Manager includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Leading by example
  • Supporting and assisting all staff in following policies and procedures
  • Ensuring sequence of service is understood and followed
  • Monitoring and maintaining standards of venue presentation and driving revenue
  • Ensuring customer service standards are maintained to the highest possible level

REQUIREMENTS

Assistant Manager essential requirements:

  • Previous management or supervisory experience within a fast paced high volume bar or nightclub.
  • Experience of key holding, cash handling/reconciliation and the ability to communicate effectively with customers are also essential requirements.
  • This post will require you to work a rota pattern which will include late nights, evenings, weekends and public holidays so it is essential that are able to be flexible with your working hours.
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Valid RSA and RMLV.
