JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead, inspire, motivate and elevate dining experience and service standards whilst engendering a positive work culture. You will have an extensive management background in large scale operations and have in-depth understanding of financials.

A fun and lively venue located in the heart of vibrant and historic Flinders Lane, Chin Chin is based on the intense flavours of South-East Asia. With queues since the opening of the venue in 2011, Chin Chin has become an iconic part of the Melbourne dining scene.

REQUIREMENTS

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • Demonstrated experience as venue manager in a vibrant, fast paced restaurant environment
  • Exemplary leadership with a strong focus on the crew experience
  • Strong understanding of management and restaurant compliance practices
  • Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams and exceeding targets
  • Business acumen and strong understand of financials
  • Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressured service periods
  • Proven ability in building effective relationships
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Experience with Deputy (or similar Time & Attendance system), H&L, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Exceptional communication and presentation
  • Available and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
  • Must possess a valid RSA certificate
