JOB DESCRIPTION

Justin Lane Establishment is coming to Brisbane! 

We will be opening our third and largest venue on the corner of Alfred & Constance Street in the very near future and we are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead the team. 
 
Established in 2011 in Burleigh Heads, we quickly grew into one of the Gold Coast’s leading destinations for booze, food and good vibes.
 
This is the opportunity to take a major leadership role in one of the most anticipated launches of the year and what is sure to be a flagship venue for the valley. The venue will comprise a large restaurant seating area, casual dining space, rooftop bar, takeaway store, coffee shop as well as private dining space and a high-end cocktail lounge. 
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of the venue, before during and after service hours. You will be directly responsible for the  supervision and control of all activities and staff in accordance with well-established company standards, policies and procedures. 
 
Reporting to the General Manager, you will work within a large management structure and communicate with the team daily, to help plan, organise and coordinate team members and restaurant resources to ensure the highest standard of food and beverage service is delivered to our patrons. 


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Duty Manager
General Manager
Restaurant Manager
Venue Manager

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate experience in the following:
 
·      3 years minimum management experience in a fast paced restaurant environment
·      Maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency across a whole restaurant offering
·      Staff training and compliance with internal policies and procedures
·      Ensuring that all staff comply with RSA practices
·      Creation, implementation and maintenance of restaurant procedures
·      Counting and reconciling tills
·      RMLV + Approved Managers License highly regarded 
·      Experience with high end cocktails highly regarded
·      Experience with high turnover café operations highly regarded
 
As a senior member of the management team, your own personal work performance, presentation, attitude and punctuality must be of the highest standard.
