JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an enthusiastic & driven venue manager to lead the new Mediterranean inspired venue Mezze Za Za. Located in Melbourne’s Terminal 4 domestic food court, Mezze Za Za specialises in char-grilled souvlaki meats using Mediterranean spices and blends to cover a variety of mouth-watering food across breakfast, lunch and dinner.

You will be responsible for bringing Mezze Za Za to life for the first time by delivering an exceptional quality food offering and leading the team by example. Our customers will be experiencing Mezze Za Za in Melbourne for the first time, so you will need to be an organised & passionate chef/manager, with a ‘customer obsessed’ focus that drives sales and builds a regular client base. You will support the team by leading the way to ensure quality standards are always met. You will be trained on all programs, policies and procedures withn our business.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in similar chef/supervisor
  • Previous experience within a fast-paced food & beverage retailer is ideal – experience within a Mediterranean/Kebab/Souvlaki environment is highly regarded 
  • Experience providing a high level of customer service
  • Experience in cash handling and POS operation to process orders
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Able to delegate and motivate team members
  • A high level of communication with the ability to give on-the-spot feedback
  • Great multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
