Hours are flexible based on applicants availability and experience, but as out busiest periods are Friday nights and weekends, there will be an expectation you are available to work most shifts during these periods.

Who are we?

Ciao Cielo e Cucina is an established venue located in Port Melbourne in the iconic old courthouse and surrounding gardens.

Ciao Cielo is our fine dining restaurant located in the dramatic interior of a classical heritage building, with a green Bocce inspired lawn for al fresco garden dining.

Ciao Cucina is a Mediterranean beer garden. By day it’s inspired by casual beachside eats in Portofino and by night it transforms under a sky of twinkling fairy lights creating a casual, party atmosphere for frivolous nights out.

Both serve contemporary Italian cuisine while paying homage to traditional techniques. We are a diverse venue with a strong, young and enthusiastic team of professionals, both front of house and back of house.

Who are we looking for?

For Ciao Cielo, we are looking for experienced section waiters who are committed to delivering exceptional service with finesse and attention to detail. General knowledge of wine and wine service is advantageous. 

For Ciao Cucina, we are looking for all rounders and bartenders with energy and personality, the role would suit an experienced hospo young guns with a passion for casual customer service and enthusiasm for creating a relaxed party atmosphere.

Versatility is a must as you may be required to work across both sides of the venue as well as assist with execution of functions and other events. These roles are casual to start with hours offered depending on your needs and the needs of the venue.
