JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you an experienced Venue Manager seeking a rewarding opportunity in a luxury hospitality company?

 

Join the YOT Group today and be a part of our exceptional team! We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Venue Manager to oversee our newest venue, YOT Deck, located on the picturesque waters of Mariners Cove.

 

Your role in a nutshell:

  • Manage all staff and all operational aspects of our new venue, YOT Deck
  • Manage YOT Deck Events across all food, beverage and entertainment platforms to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests in-line with budgets.

 

As the Venue Manager, your primary responsibilities will include effectively managing all staff and operational aspects of YOT Deck. You will be responsible for overseeing YOT Deck Events, including food, beverage, and entertainment platforms, to ensure our guests have unforgettable experiences while adhering to budgetary constraints.

 

Your day to day:

  • Manage a team of enthusiastic bar, floor, and kitchen staff, fostering a positive Team Culture and delivering exceptional Guest Experiences
  • Manage venue in accordance with labour budgets and spending trends to maximise efficiency
  • Coordinate and communicate daily bookings, expectations, and tasks to the Host, Duty Manager, Bar Supervisor, Head Chef, and Artists
  • Monitor bar service wait times and staff resources across both Bars
  • Oversee food-drop flow during Lunch and Dinner services in collaboration with the Head Chef
  • Provide end-of-day reports to Senior Management regarding operational results and suggested improvements
  • Contribute innovative event ideas and customer experience initiatives to enhance Guest Experiences
  • Troubleshoot and manage the POS system, including cash reporting and reconciliation
  • Serve as the point of contact for Licensing, Police and other authorities

REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Ability to manage to a defined budget
  • Experience in managing, coordinating, and empowering teams to achieve optimal performance
  • Extensive experience in event catering floor service
  • In-depth knowledge of statutory requirements governing operations.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, rostering, spreadsheets, and event management applications
  • Current RMLV certificate
