Bushfire Relief Hour | Sydney

Bruce, Elliot and Anna Solomon along with Matt Moran have pledged a donation of $10,000 per venue, totalling $280,000 that will go directly towards the Rural Fire Services within each venues’ respective NSW and QLD states. 


“The national bushfire crisis has had a major impact on families, communities, emergency workers and volunteers and the thoughts and sympathy of the Solotel community are with them,” says Anna  Solomon. “This national disaster has touched everyone across the country - we acknowledge the tireless work of the many individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions to the relief effort and look forward to adding our support.” 

Solotel pubs and bars will be hosting a ​Bushfire Relief Hour​ on Friday 17 January, with all proceeds from food and beverages sold between 5 - 7 pm being donated directly towards the bushfire appeal.

Participating venues will span 21 bars and pubs across Sydney including Darlo Bar, Goros, Green Park Hotel, Kings Cross Hotel, Opera Bar, Paddo Inn, Public House Petersham, Smoke and House Bar at  Barangaroo House, The Albion, The Bank, The Bridgeview Hotel, The Clock, The Courthouse Hotel, The  Edinburgh Castle Hotel, The Erko, The Golden Sheaf, The Marly, The Regent, The Sackville and Quay Bar as well as South Brisbane’s Little Big House. 

 


Purchase A Bushfire Relief Dish Or Drink


Matt Moran and the Solomon family restaurants have introduced a ​Bushfire Relief dish​ or drink to each of their menus. Launching Friday 10 January through to Sunday 9 February, 100% of proceeds from the below items will go directly towards the Rural Fire Service.

Peri-peri grilled chicken burger, avocado, tomato, lettuce  

 

“Our home is hurting and we need to stand together,” says Matt Moran. “This means supporting each other and doing whatever we can to make a difference, big or small. I know so many of us here in Sydney feel incredibly helpless at the moment, so we want to give everyone the opportunity to contribute any way they can.”
