Latin Night | Cairns

Join us at The Pier Bar every Thursday night from 8pm and enjoy a Latin experience like no other. Emerge yourself in Cairns’ Salsa community with live music, Latin DJ, choreography and dance performances. What’s your style – Salsa, Samba, Bachata, Meringue? Enjoy dancing to a mix of all Latin music.

The Latin Jazz Excursion takes the stage at 8pm immediately followed by a beginners salsa lesson with choreographer Jose Martinez. Have you ever wanted to learn how to Salsa? Or have you seen the dancers on Thursdays and wanted to join in but not felt confident enough? Learn the basics in his easy to follow class. Free to join, learn some new moves and get dancing!

Later in the night let your body go to the rhythms and rhymes of Reggaeton by DJ Jose, the only Latin DJ you need to keep your feet stomping.
