Mardi Gras 2023

Mardi Gras 2023

WHEN 25/02/23 3 p.m. - 25/02/23 midnight

WHERE Oxford Street View on Map

In 2023, Sydney Mardi Gras and Sydney WorldPride unite to present a truly global LGBTQIA+ pride festival – the very first in the Southern Hemisphere. Do not miss the amazing parade down Sydney's Oxford Street in its biggest appearance ever!

The theme for the festival is GATHER, DREAM, AMPLIFY, which acknowledges the traditional custodians of Australia and represents our commitment to equality and inclusion.

In 2023, Sydney Mardi Gras and Sydney WorldPride will introduce the world to the glittering LGBTQIA+ communities, giving our diverse First Nations and Asia Pacific people the opportunity to share their pride on a global stage.

Sydney WorldPride and the 2023 Mardi Gras Festival will be a time for the LGBTQIA+ communities across the globe to come together to listen deeply, learn, take action, protest and party. It will be a moment in time where the whole world be united in pride for the very first time – but it’s just a starting point.

The parade will absolutely be bigger, better, louder and prouder than ever and is not to be missed! Gather a group of friends and rally around this amazing event to be part of history in the Southern Hemisphere's first ever WorldPride festival.
