Vivid Sydney 2023
Vivid is back for another year of amazing lights, art, music and food! ✨
Get ready to be dazzled, Sydney! Vivid Sydney is back and better than ever, bringing together a vibrant array of artists, musicians, and thought leaders for a month-long celebration of all things light, sound, and taste. This year, the festival is bigger and brighter, with a free 8.5-kilometer Light Walk featuring 60 light attractions and 26 international works that transform the city into a kaleidoscopic wonderland. And that's just the beginning!
The Vivid Music program is packed with incredible talent, including First Nations voices like Yothu Yindi, Emma Donovan, and Dan Sultan, plus international acts like José González, Yaeji, and Cat Power. And with a staggering number of live music events that are free, you won't want to miss the vibrant Tumbalong Nights program, which brings 12 nights of free music to Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour.
But that's not all! The Vivid Ideas program is back, with talks and discussions that will reshape the way we think about our relationship with the natural world. And for the first time ever, the festival is expanding its program to include an exciting food-themed offering. The Vivid Food program will feature some of Sydney's and the world's best chefs, restaurants, producers, and venues, including the sell-out event Vivid Sydney Dinner, which is back for another year with a collaboration between Ben Greeno and Danielle Alvarez in the kitchen.
There's so much to see and do at Vivid Sydney 2023, from the transformative audiovisual experience of Lightscape at the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney to the cutting-edge collaborative dinners of the Vivid Chef Series. So mark your calendars for May 26 to June 17, and get ready to be wowed by the city's biggest and brightest festival!
