Munich Brauhaus Unveils Four Frivolous Winter Parties
Jun 24, 2019
Four different, winter-inspired parties will take place throughout the chilly months of July and August, each following a playful theme: 80s après ski, Christmas in July, colourful winter onesies and a white-themed, Auf Wiedersehen winter party.
Winter party calendar:
Saturday, 6 July: 80s aprés ski
Saturday, 20 July: Christmas in July
Saturday, 10 August: Colourful winter onesies
Saturday, 31 August: Auf Wiedersehen winter
From fluoro ski attire and ugly Christmas jumpers, to warm onesies and white-coloured outfits, party-goers are encouraged to dress in costume for the chance to win a $200 restaurant voucher at each event.
The parties kick off at 7pm, with a line-up of games and challenges such as nail hammering, stein holding, yodelling and beer pong, with restaurant vouchers and other prizes for winners.
Revellers can go in the draw to win prizes at each event. Winners will be drawn at 9pm.
The guest who parties the hardest at each event will also be awarded with a voucher entitling them to a free pretzel with the purchase of a drink, at any Bavarian restaurant, for life.
Munich Brauhaus will turn on the winter magic with charming decorations, and a snow machine is set to create some extra fun. There will be a photo booth for guests to make some memories, while groovers and shakers can dance the night away, with a DJ spinning tunes from 9pm.
Guests can fuel up on a fantastic range of winter warming dishes including two, hearty, pork platters ($35pp) that are jam-packed with fragrant flavours and spices. Munich Brauhaus’ famous crackling pork belly ($31) is also a perfect seasonal dish, featuring red cabbage, onion bier jus, mashed potatoes and apple compote, while a curried vegetable and lentil pie served with mash potato and apple chutney ($26.50) is the ideal meat-free option.
