Recognised Leaders in Responsible Investment

Recognised Leaders in Responsible Investment

AustralianSuper believes that investing in companies with good Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) management provides better long-term returns for members[1].

That’s why we consider ESG factors when investing and advocate for better ESG outcomes for our assets throughout our ownership. Our work as an active responsible investor has earned recognition from the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA) as a leading responsible investment super fund[2], for our high degree of transparency and incorporation of ESG considerations in investment decisions. As a large, responsible investor AustralianSuper actively engages with companies to encourage positive outcomes on ESG issues like climate change and modern slavery.

We’re committed to achieving net zero emissions in our investment portfolio by 2050 and are working with companies and other investors to accelerate action towards this goal.
Learn more about how AustralianSuper approaches responsible investment, in the article here and australiansuper.com/investments/how-we-invest/esg-management.
