A Crafty Duo: BrewDog and Aus Venue Co’s new venue opening in Sydney

Australian Venue Co (AVC) and BrewDog have teamed up to bring you the partnership of the century, opening a new venue in South Eveleigh Sydney. This crafty duo is bringing high-quality beer, fantastic food experiences and exceptional service to the iconic location later this summer. 

The partnership continues to bring together Australia’s leading pub operator and the world’s largest craft beer bar operator, starting with their opening with BrewDog Pentridge in Melbourne in June, they’re expanding their partnership up to NSW and soon Brisbane. 

Located within the old locomotive workshop of the historic South Eveleigh destination, this exciting new venue is due for completion in late 2022. The $3.2 million project is creating a space to accommodate 720 patrons inside and 190 outside, across a large indoor dining space, bar and beer garden. 

The food menu will be half plant-based, with an extensive range of vegan and vegetarian options alongside BrewDog’s legendary burgers, wings and pizzas. Set to offer 40 brews on tap, including a lineup of BrewDog draught beers alongside guest beer tap takeovers and collaborations with local breweries, the beverage menu will have a range of non-alcoholic options, spirits, wines, cocktails and ciders. Creating the perfect space for work Christmas drinks, Sunday family dinner or a catch-up with some friends.

Designed by Studio Y architects, the BrewDog bar is set around the original workshop machinery collection from the iconic Locomotive Workshop location, designed to create an immersive and unique experience for customers, paying homage to the rich history of the location. 

Creating 40 new local jobs including front of house, back of house and management, this venue is set to help rejuvenate the industry, we particularly are looking forward to enjoying a brew or two.
