Christmas Cocktails From MONIN

It's definitely the time of the year to get creative af with those festive cocktails, and we know how to bring heaps of flavour and creativity without the mess and hassle. There are heaps of syrups that will add that punch of flavour to give your drinks that wow factor, so why not give some of the cocktails below a go? MONIN syrups can be purchased at any local Dan Murphys.

Cranberry Apple Mojito:

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. Monin Cranberry Syrup
  • 1 1/2 oz. apple rum
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz. cranberry juice
  • 5 mint leaves
  • ice
  • 1 oz. lemon-lime soda

What will you need:

Glass Size: 16 oz.
Garnish: cranberries, mint sprig

How to make it:

  1. Muddle fruit/herbs and Monin product(s) in shaker.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except sparkling beverage.
  3. Cap and shake vigorously.
  4. Pour into serving glass and add any needed ice.
  5. Top with sparkling beverage and garnish.

Eggnog Martini:

Ingredients:

  • ice
  • 3/4 oz. Monin Spiced Brown Sugar Syrup
  • 1 oz. spiced rum
  • 1/2 oz. Irish cream liqueur
  • 2 oz. eggnog

What will you need:

Glass: Cocktail/Martini
Glass Size: 8 oz.
Garnish: cinnamon powder, nutmeg, whipped cream

How to make it:

  1. Chill serving glass.
  2. Pour ingredients into mixing glass with 2/3 ice in order listed.
  3. Cap, shake and strain into chilled serving glass.
  4. Add garnish and serve.

 

And for those of you who are trying to have a less boozy Christmas this year (weird flex but ok) we also have some super yum non alcholic options for you to try:

Chocolate Peppermint Shake:

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. Monin Peppermint Syrup
  • 10 1/2 oz. chocolate ice cream
  • 2 oz. milk

What will you need:
Glass Size: 16 oz.
Garnish: peppermint stick, sugar sprinkles, whipped cream

How to make it:

  1. Fill serving glass ½ full of ice.
  2. Pour ingredients into blender cup in order listed.
  3. Add ice from serving glass, cap, and blend until smooth.
  4. Pour back into serving glass, add garnish and serve.

 

Frosty Fesvite Freakshake

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 oz. Monin Frosted Mint Syrup
  • 1 oz. Monin Dark Chocolate Sauce
  • 3 scoop(s) vanilla ice cream
  • 2 oz. milk

What will you need:

Glass Size: 16 oz.
Garnish: whipped cream

How to make it:

  1. Fill serving glass ½ full of ice.
  2. Pour ingredients into blender cup in order listed.
  3. Add ice from serving glass, cap, and blend until smooth.
  4. Pour back into serving glass, add garnish and serve.
