Nominations are open! 2020 Restaurant & Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence

2020 is definitely one for the record books and is certainly one of the most challenging starts to the year ever seen, for the hospitality sector. Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&CA) have worked tirelessly to advocate for the industry to keep doors open and provide support and information on the road to recovery.
This year the R&CA will be holding the 2020 Restaurant & Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence to celebrate the incredible resilience the industry has shown. Knowing the incredible stress and financial hardship the industry is under, industry members have spoken expressing the importance of recognising the industry this year, particularly during these unprecedented times.
And to support businesses we will be accepting your restaurant gift vouchers as a payment method for the nomination category fee.
There are also some exciting changes to the Awards in 2020 with all nominated venues receive more comprehensive feedback on the judge’s experience, to allow you to use the information to benefit the operations of the business.
By being awarded your R&CA Awards plate rating, demonstrates that your business provides quality products and services as a credible, professional business that delivers excellent customer service and the best in quality hospitality.
Restaurants may enter one of fourteen restaurant categories. Casual Dining establishments have the opportunity to enter one of three categories and caterers can enter up to two of eight categories. Everyone who enters has a chance to also take home the major accolades of Restaurant of the Year, Casual Dining of the Year and Caterer of the Year.
Other awards include the consumer vote award (where the public votes), the healthy kids menu award in South Australia and Queensland; the hospitality award to celebrate individual brilliance in the industry and the fast casual dining award and many more.
R&CA look forward to celebrating with you all, in what is a testament to the hardworking and dedicated hospitality sector.
