Sip On Sangria This Summer!

Summertime is upon us once again in all its scorching glory.  What better way to celebrate than with a thirst-quenching Sangria? Treasury Wine Estates Summertime Sips program is providing just that, Fizzy, Fruity and Festive Sangria made using some of your favourite wines such as Squealing Pig Rose. Perfect to share with your friends on a hot Summers day or night!

Seppelt Sparkling Shiraz Sangria (Makes 1 Litre)

Liquid Ingredients: 
•    300ml Seppelt Sparkling Shiraz 
•    1/4 cup orange juice (plus more to taste)
•    50ml lemonade 
•    1 cup Ice to chill

 

Fruits and Herbs:
Any of the following; Apple, Orange, Pear, Strawberries, ½ teaspoon raw sugar  
Handful Mint Leaves (place mint in between your palms and gently clap to release the flavour)

 

Directions: 
Place sugar and fruit at the bottom of a jug, stir until sugar is dissolved. Top with liquid ingredients. Add ice and mint leaves. Stir and enjoy!
