Occupying the space of the former Hugo’s Lounge, Sydney’s latest venue will transport you to the vibrant colour and relaxed lifestyle of 1970s Miami.
Designed by Josh Clapp of Steel + Stitch (Lobo Plantation, El Topo), Flamingo Lounge is inspired by the geometry of Cuban Art Deco architecture to create a boho luxe space, divided into a discotheque and terrace.
The Terrace is a supper club style lounge, serving up delicious cocktails and pizzas into the late night. The alfresco space includes two bars and seven VIP booths that can accommodate up 400 guests in total.
Adorned with gold palm trees and cardinal red features and oozing that Cuban sexiness, the discotheque appears straight out of 70s Florida. With two bars and ten bottle service booths, the space can service up to 250 patrons.
For those looking for that extra pizzazz for themselves and their guests, there are also two VVIP private parlours that can be hired.
To herald its launch, the venue will play host to an array of exciting events throughout January.
Friday 12th of January will see the launch of Jay Z’s cognac, D’Ussé. A favourite amongst the R&B and Hip Hop communities in the U.S.A, the spirit is predicted to take the market by storm.
Then on Sunday 28th of January, Flamingo Lounge will launch their weekly Sunday sunset sessions. Held from 7pm until late evening, the Havana themed nights will offer guests $10 BACARDÍ mojitos and $10 pizzas.
