In 2025, we acquired Barcats, Australia's largest hospitality jobs platform connecting 54,000 venues with more than 215,000 professionals. Founded in 2017, Barcats has become the go-to hub for venues and workers across the industry.
We see great synergies between the two businesses to be able to facilitate employment, provide training, build a community and manage tip and casual salary payments in a re-imagined way. Together with Barcats, we also launched PAYC in 2024 — a game-changing recruitment and payment solution that showed how casual workers could be paid in hours, not weeks.
