Diageo Bar Academy & World Class Roadshow returns for its 6th year, and it’s set to be the biggest one yet!
We’ll be travelling around the country with some of our industry’s most influential figures, leading a series of short seminars and panel chats, bringing an afternoon of unmissable training to a capital city near you.
Who’s going to be running the sessions?

Julie has been at the forefront of the industry and the modern craft cocktail renaissance for the last 25 years, opening bars in New York, including Flatiron Lounge (2003), The Pegu Club (2005), and Clover Club (2008). She is a published author and regularly has recipes featured in publications such as The New York Times, GQ, and Time Out. She is also the host of Netflix’s show, Drinks Masters.
Tiffanie is the bartender’s bartender, an influencer and educator with a passion for hospitality that has been awarded with some of the beverage industry’s highest honours. She was the beverage Director of One Flew South, “The best airport bar in the world – 2014, for 7 years. She was inducted into the Tales of the Cocktail Hall of Fame in 2020 and currently serves as the American chair of the the spirited awards.
James is the reigning World Class Bartender of the year in Australia and is fresh off his run at the World Class global finals in Toronto. He has been at the forefront of the Australian industry, winning awards and leading some of the country's best venues for the past 10 years.
Kate leads the Diageo Advocacy program in Australia and is the lead for the World Class competition here in Australia.

What can you expect?
An exciting afternoon of learning and inspiration with like-minded hospitality professionals. The day will be suitable for all levels of experience, whether it’s your first year or your 10th!
We’ll be running seminars with each host, covering technical bartending skills and capturing flavour in your cocktails with James and Kate. Julie and Tiffanie will host a session on building a career in Hospitality. We will have a Panel chat where you will have the opportunity to ask questions to any of the hosts and wrap up the day with an exclusive early announcement of the 2026 World Class Australia entry round challenge.
